Product Description
When you need to share information about your business, product, service or latest venture in a format that will last, distributing printed booklets is a wonderful option for marketing. When your booklets contain fewer pages, saddle stitching is an excellent way to bind them.
Essentially, saddle stitch binding is the process of stapling together signatures (sheets with several pages printed on them) through the spine. Folded sheets of paper are first inserted within each other, and the fold becomes the spine of the product where it is bound. Afterwards, the papers are stapled together at the spine. The saddle stitch binding method is used for booklets and newsletters with fewer pages.
The versatility and low cost of saddle stitch binding make these booklets immensely popular amongst our trade customers. Saddle stitching is a method of binding pages together with staples at the spine. It’s a straightforward technique that works well for any document up to 48 pages in length and offers a sharp, finishing touch at a minimal cost. If your document has 24 or even more pages, we’ll square back the spine to keep it from opening.
Saddle stitched books are ideal for printing smaller booklets like magazines, brochures, and reports. Other applications include programs, marketing pamphlets, and even comic books. All saddle stitched booklets must be made in multiples of four pages, so a single page folded in half constitutes four printed pages. All of our printed saddle stitched booklets are available with a quick turnaround.
Our clientele have access to a diverse range of high – quality papers in a diverse array of weights, sizes, and finishes. For additional durability, most use thicker stock for the cover and many choose matt or gloss lamination. Inner pages should be 150gsm or lighter to prevent your booklet from springing open.
Saddle-stitched booklets are ideal for a variety of marketing purposes, including:
